The composition involves a high-refractive crystal with a denser structure, resulting in superior optical clarity compared to basic silicate formulas that lack high-refractive content. Under light, this construction creates clear refractions with bright glints rather than the dull gloss sometimes seen in lesser alternatives. When tapped, the crystal produces a crisp ring with long musical resonance, whereas inferior glass may produce a dull thud. The density feels noticeably heavy and solid rather than lightweight. Additionally, the hand-finished smooth rim ensures even thickness that resists chipping, unlike rough mold edges prone to damage.Installation Guidelines
To ensure proper placement, observe the following vertical and horizontal spacing requirements. Hang the dome approximately 30 inches above a table surface in residential settings. Maintain a minimum clearance of seven feet from the floor in walkways and open areas to prevent obstruction. When installing multiple pendants over an island, center-to-center spacing should be between 24 and 30 inches. For ceilings higher than the standard eight feet, increase the drop distance by an additional three inches for every extra foot to maintain proportional aesthetics.
Suitable Rooms
- Kitchen Island: Hang a row of two or three lights spaced 24–30″ apart, roughly 30–36″ above the counter for task lighting.
- Dining Room: Center one pendant over the table. Select a size roughly half the width of the table, hung 30–36″ above the tabletop.
- Foyer or Entryway: Keep at least seven feet of floor clearance. The 14″ size performs particularly well in double-height foyers.

Maintenance and Care
Prior to cleaning, always turn off power to the fixture and allow it to cool completely. For the crystal dome, wipe gently with a slightly damp microfiber cloth, then dry immediately to restore shine. Clean the brass finish by wiping with a dry microfiber cloth. Avoid the use of alcohol, acids, or harsh chemical cleaners on the brass. Never spray water directly onto the fixture to protect internal electrical components.
